This Web site is dedicated especially to my mother and father, Emily Kathleen 
Gill and Charles Noble Lovering and to the many founding families associated 
with the Lovering and Gill surnames.

Some of the earliest research on the Lovering Family tree was conducted by 
Miss Nellie Lovering over a number of years. Special thanks to Ken Balkwill, 
of Stellarton, Nova Scotia for his data, insight, and knowledge, and to Twyla 
(Lovering) Davidson and Glenna (Lovering) Tinney for the help with scanning 
the many photographs. To the many chats over the years about family stories 
and tales with sister, Catherine and brothers, Glen and Vallie, I have been 
able to piece togetherthe many surnames and folk tales. Special Thanks to 
Robert Millard for sharing the information on the Gill surname. Also, much 
information regarding the Kitchen and Gill surnames has been taken from the 
Kitchen/Gill Family Trees book.

Since immigrating to Canada, the families have expanded and grown to include 
all and many more not cited in this site.  They have spread all over the globe.
